| Race Day Schedule (Sundays) Gates Open: 7:30 AM Registration begins at 7:30 AM If you are a novice, you must report to the pocket bike race director(s) between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM. so that they can make sure that your safety and the safety of others have been properly protected. Pocket Bike and Gear Tech: 8:30 AM Registration: 7:30-9:30 AM Track walk at 9:00 AM All Drivers/Riders Meeting: 9:35 AM 10:00am Break in (karts) Practice usually runs between an 60 and 90 minutes. Racing will begin thereafter, with timeslots being posted on a white board for all to see. We try to make sure that track access is equal and fair for all, but it doesn't always work out that way. We will try our best though. Racing is usually done by 4:30 or so, with track cleanup completed as quickly as possible. The track is typically operational in rain or shine. The karting club rules are posted on the website; www.seattlekartingclub.com See you at the track! Schedule for practice days:Nobody is really early. Engines can start at 10AM. Its not a bad idea to start setting up at 9AM or earlier if you have wrenching to do, but we can't guarantee a time that the gates will be open for access to the pits. The track is open from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with one hour to clean up and be out of the pits, so that the evening racing program can begin setup. |
